QABF Startup Competition - 4th Edition
Under the theme “Invest in a Connected Africa”, the Startup Competition at the Qatar Africa Business Forum 2025 aims to serve as a true gateway for innovation. Its mission is to identify and support Africa and GCC's most promising ventures, while connecting them with global investors, venture capitalists, and industry leaders
About the Competition
The pitch competition will be in three rounds. In each round, startups will be carefully reviewed and selected by leading venture capitalists (VCs), angel investors, and UM6P jury.
If your startup is selected, you will receive a confirmation email with an invitation to the next round.

1st Round : 20 startups will be selected based on their responses to the platform's questionnaire. |

2nd Round : In this virtual round, selected startups will pitch to our jurors at an allocated time. From these, 10 finalists will be chosen. |

3rd Round : The top 10 finalists will present their pitches to the jury on November 19th during the QABF. Winners will be announced at this event.
Finalists will also receive exclusive prizes and an invitation to a high-profile Roundtable on the second day of QABF. This session, involving venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, will focus on in-depth discussions about future investments, strategic partnerships, and opportunities in Africa’s emerging markets.
