Mission  

The mission of the Agri-Food Tech Incubator is structured around the following pillars:

  • Fostering entrepreneurial mindset and culture among Moroccan students, graduates, and researchers;

  • Promoting and leveraging research outputs from national higher education and research institutions;

  • Contributing to the emergence of high-performing startups in the fields of agribusiness and agritech in Morocco;

  • Supporting the establishment of a community of practice in agricultural and agri-food entrepreneurship, bringing together actors and partners from academic, economic, societal, and governmental spheres.

 

Vision

The creation of the Agri-Food Tech Incubator is part of the national vision for inclusive, sustainable, and innovation-driven agricultural development, aligned with the objectives of the New Development Model and the Green Generation strategy.

Mentorat

 

Qualified experts based in Morocco and abroad will participate in the mentoring process. Both partners will pool their resources and call on their national and international partners to support these mentoring efforts.

 
Formation

 

The training of incubated startups will follow a schedule determined and approved in advance by both partners (UM6P and IAV Hassan II).

 
Aide à la levée des fonds

The incubator will provide guidance on obtaining grants and developing an appropriate financing strategy.

 
Accès au marché

  A wide range of market access and visibility opportunities will be offered through demonstration days and bootcamps, during which project holders will have the chance to present their work to a variety of companies and farmers who may collaborate with them.

Accès à l'infrastructure de l'UM6P et de l'IAV

Entrepreneurs will have access to the infrastructures of UM6P and IAV Hassan II, such as the StartGate startup campus, the experimental farm, and the laboratories of both institutions.
